Dr. Pat DiCiccio
Dr. Pat DiCiccio earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University. After graduating, he began his orthodontic career in Fresno, where he has been providing outstanding care for the past 25 years.
Dr. DiCiccio is an associate professor at Loma Linda University, where he teaches part-time and stays actively involved in the latest advancements in orthodontics. He is also a member of multiple study groups, ensuring his patients receive the most up-to-date and effective treatments.
Committed to giving back, Dr. DiCiccio founded the Fresno chapter of Smile for a Lifetime, a national non-profit, in 2011. Since then, his chapter has provided free orthodontic care to nearly 60 local children in need.
Outside the office, Dr. DiCiccio and his wife, Mischelle, have raised four children in Fresno and love spending time with their granddaughter, Sofia. They enjoy traveling and outdoor activities as a family.
Dr. David Freeman
Dr. Freeman earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco, graduating at the top of his class. He then completed a three-year orthodontic specialty program at the University of Michigan, one of the most respected programs in the country.
With 15 years of experience, Dr. Freeman is highly regarded in the local dental community for his precision, skill, and integrity. His patients and their families appreciate his exceptional results and the positive experience he creates at every visit.
Dr. Freeman’s practice is technology-driven, incorporating the latest advancements to improve efficiency, comfort, and outcomes for his patients. He is passionate about utilizing cutting-edge innovations to enhance orthodontic care.
Dr. Freeman and his wife, Emily, have five children who keep them busy with school, activities, and family adventures. Together, they enjoy traveling, biking, making music, and playing games.
Dr. Lucas DiCiccio
Dr. Lucas earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Point Loma Nazarene University, where he also played baseball. He then attended Loma Linda University, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, before completing his Master of Science in Dentistry in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Colorado.
His favorite part of orthodontics is seeing the excitement on his patients’ faces when they finish treatment. He is passionate about creating confident smiles and is thrilled to be part of DiCiccio Freeman Orthodontics, where he continues to grow in his field.
Beyond the office, Dr. Lucas enjoys giving back through mission work, both locally and abroad, in Peru, Angola, and Palau. He and his wife, Cashel, have two dogs, Tyson and Myla, and love spending time outdoors. In his free time, you’ll often find him at the gym, on the golf course, or enjoying an adventure outside.
Clovis & Fresno Braces

Instead of brackets and bands, the clear aligner system uses a series of clear, removable trays to gradually straighten your teeth.
Aligners are made of a comfortable plastic material and customized to fit snugly over your teeth. To keep your teeth moving in the direction you want them to, you’ll need to switch your invisible trays out for the next one in the series every one to two weeks as directed by Dr. DiCiccio, Dr. Freeman, or Dr. Lucas.
Our clear aligner system can only work if the recommended guidelines are followed exactly! Aligners should be worn 20-22 hours per day throughout treatment. If patients neglect to wear the aligners as directed, it can impede the results and also add time to the orthodontic process.
Aligners are at their most efficient when correcting many of the most common orthodontic issues. For some complex cases, clear aligners may not be a good option.
